Privacy Policy
This policy describes the information RentalPlace currently processes. It does not set a retention period where one has not yet been adopted.
Information processed
RentalPlace processes account and contact information, profile data, listing content and photos, messages, booking and activity data, support requests, reports, reviews, verification status, payment identifiers and transaction metadata, Stripe/Connect identifiers, and security and admin-audit information.
Verification and sensitive uploads
RentalPlace processes submitted ID and selfie images for manual verification. These files are stored in private storage and are intended to be available only to authorized RentalPlace administrators and the relevant user through protected access controls. Verification does not guarantee identity, safety, or transaction performance.
Service providers
RentalPlace currently uses Supabase for application data, authentication, and storage; Stripe for payment processing and connected-account services; Resend for transactional email delivery; and Vercel for application hosting and delivery. Stripe handles card-payment data; RentalPlace does not state that it stores full card numbers.
How information is used
RentalPlace uses information to operate accounts, listings, rentals, handoffs, payments, support, dispute review, safety reporting, notifications, security controls, and marketplace administration.
Messages and support
Marketplace messages and support requests may be retained for account, safety, dispute, and payment support. Transactional email may notify users about marketplace events; private message contents are not intentionally included in those emails.
Security and retention
RentalPlace uses hosted infrastructure, access controls, private storage for sensitive uploads, and restricted administrative access designed to protect information. No system can guarantee absolute security. Data-retention, deletion, and verified-request procedures require business and legal review before launch.
Your choices
You may contact RentalPlace support about account or privacy questions. Requests involving deletion, access, or legal rights will be handled under the policy and legal process adopted for launch.
